Frequently Asked Questions
How can I book to camp?
You can use our Book Now button. Plus there is more information on membership via the Greener Camping Club website.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, all dogs are welcome, please visit our camping page for further details on this.
Are there electrical hook-ups?
There are no electrical hook-ups at Gronwyn Retreats—we like to keep things simple and off-grid. That said, we do have a communal charging point where you can top up phones, tablets, and other small devices during your stay.
Do you allow motorhomes, touring caravans or campervans?
At Gronwyn Retreats, we are currently unable to accommodate motorhomes or campervans due to access limitations. Our site is designed for tent camping, offering a peaceful, off-grid experience nestled in nature. There are some lovely local businesses that are open to these types of campers, we would be happy to point you in the right direction.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, we do have a strong Wi-Fi connection available for guests. While we encourage you to switch off and soak up the nature around you, we’re totally on board with a cosy movie night or a quick scroll under the stars. The password will be shared with you on arrival.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 1pm, though we’re happy to welcome you earlier if the meadow is ready, just drop us a message. We ask that all arrivals are before 7pm, to help keep things peaceful for those already settled in.
Departure is before noon, but if you'd like to linger a little longer, we're happy to extend your stay free of charge whenever availability allows. No rush, no pressure, again just let us know and we’ll do our best.
